Students from Transportation Design and Communication Design collaborated in small teams to develop user experiences and system-focused narratives that explore various day-in-the-life scenarios. Scenarios used research to identify audience needs and define the contextual nature of user experience as framed within the interior of a level 4 to 5 autonomous vehicle.
The final deliverable was a series of persona videos / interior animations, interactive prototypes and digital renderings that express team research and focus on a system-based approach to user experience. Outcomes combine visual communication, interactive, interface, and motion design skills in the context of an interior vehicle and its connected spaces (home, work, etc).
Our team was challenged with the demographic of 50+ year-old men who lived in remote areas outside of cities. Our goals were to provide safety during activities, and community through AI. Our top priority was to design for ease of use, which lead to a focus on accessible storage.
